  you   are  not  alone!!!

FROM MY HEART TO YOURS!

I do not want to convince you that you need Jesus, but more than that; I want to try to convince you to “want” Jesus.

Jesus is my everlasting life. He is my beginning and my end. I have been walking with him through thick and thin from the age of 13 to now at my age of 76. When my time on this earth is over, I know that I will step into His presence and be with him forever.

Yes, I need Jesus in my life every day even when things are good and when things are bad.
But more than that; I “want” Jesus in my life every day to walk with me through the good times and the bad.

He says in Psalms 23 that when we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we are to fear no evil! But why???
Because he promised that he would walk with us.

So I don’t want to convince you that you need Jesus; in as much as I want to encourage for you to “want” Jesus .

You will never regret it.

You may think you’re not worthy and we are not; but he has asked us to come be with him and the Father forever and forever. He promised to give us life and life more abundantly.
He promised to give us eternal life with Him.

If you have the “want“ to let Jesus be your Lord and Savior today, you can ask him to come into your life and change it. It doesn’t have to be fancy, the thief on the Cross just ask him if he would remember him, and Jesus said he would.

If you are ready for the “want“ to receive Jesus as your Lord and you have the words in your heart but they are hard to express then this might help you. So I would suggest that you read these words out loud and release them from your heart and start trusting him every day and he will be there for you.

“Jesus, I believe you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to rescue me from sin and death and to restore me to the Father. I choose now to turn from my sins, my self-centeredness, and every part of my life that does not please you. I choose you. I give myself to you. I receive your forgiveness and ask you to take your rightful place in my life as my Savior and Lord. Come be in my life, fill me with your love and your life. Restore me, Jesus. Live in me. Love through me. Thank you, God. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.”

Amen welcome to the Kingdom of God. One more thing that is needed, and that is for you to get a good Bible. I like the New King James version or the New Living Translation. I would suggest reading the New testament first. But why do I need to read the bible? Because it will give you an understanding of who your Lord and Savior is and what he did for you .
