John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Don't forget who you are - You are the light of the world.
When you are in a dark place and you turn on the light, where does your focus turn to? More on the light than the darkness because you know that the source of that light will get you out of that darkness.
As things is this world begin turn darker and darker, focus on the light that Jesus is providing and not all the darkness that is coming.
There several scriptures that refer to the light or Jesus. Jesus is our light and he gave us that "fullness" of His light to us to share.
Colossians 1:19 "For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ."
Colossians 2:10 ...and Christ you have brought to us fullness"
